What’s Happening This Week?

Hello supporters!

This week will be busy. Regulate Guns NOT Women will NOT be rallying on the street on Mondays. With so much going on, we’ll only be there on Wednesdays.

Recap: Bigger Than Roe

Saturday’s Bigger Than Roe rally was fun, successful and cold!  The temperature never got above freezing, but that didn’t stop the enthusiasm of the determined volunteers! We exhausted our supply of buttons!

This Week’s Events:

Monday: This Monday is the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. There are a few events going on in Atlanta to commemorate and RGNW will want to be present for the following:

  • Georgia House and Senate Democrats will hold a press conference at 1:00 p.m. on the south steps inside the Capitol. RGNW friend Representative Shea Roberts wants us there with signs!  We’ll bring signs. Please try to attend!  Let’s cover those steps tomorrow!

  • Candlelight vigil outside Grady Hospital for National Gun Violence Survivor Week. 6:30 p.m.  80 Jesse Hill Dr., SE, Atlanta 30303. Hosted by Atlanta Moms Demand Action.

Regulate Guns NOT Women supporters made an appearance at last year’s Georgia House and Senate Democrats press conference:

Wednesday: Wednesday is another busy day for RGNW supporters. While our organizers can’t be at all of them, we support the following and encourage you to attend any that you’re interested in:

  • RGNW street rally at MLK Drive and Piedmont Avenue from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. We’ll have signs for you!
