2023 Highlights:
Our street campaign was strong this summer, with weekly rallies across from the Governor’s Mansion where we gave out hundreds of buttons and stickers to passersby.
The Regulate Guns NOT Women campaign also grew substantially in 2023. In fact, since our start in June 2022, we have gone from 100 yard signs to over 7,000 in Georgia and at least 15 other states, PLUS a few other countries! Our Facebook group is now 1,000 strong!
Upcoming Actions:
Join us for one more rally at the Governor's Mansion this Friday, Jan. 5, 12:00-1:00 p.m., before we turn our attention to the 2024 Legislative Session.
On Mondays and Wednesdays, we’ll hold the RGNW banner and signs at the corner of MLK Drive and Piedmont Avenue from 12:00-1:00 p.m. We will also be a presence when our supporter legislators have bills that we can highlight.
Go Hog Wild:
The annual Wild Hog Supper (the kickoff for the start of the General Assembly) will be this Sunday, Jan. 7, 4:30 p.m., at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot, 65 MLK Drive, SW, in Atlanta. This will be our first opportunity to be in front of a lot of legislators, and we would love to see you there!
The event is cohosted by Feeding Georgia and the Georgia Department of Agriculture, and proceeds benefit their Farm to Food Bank program. You can purchase tickets for $50 at feedinggeorgia.org/wild-hog-supper. If you would rather rally outside the event, that will be great, too!
Gear Up for 2024:
We have plenty of work to do in this vitally important election year, and we will need to have a street presence throughout the state. Start thinking about what you can do in your neighborhood! Pop-up rallies on a prominent street corner? Just a few people can have a big influence!
